A hot, mysterious man keeps flirting with her and telling her they should make a movie together.

And she’s crushing on an adorable surfer. Dating him would mean committing social suicide.

But little does she know, there's someone who will do anything to make sure that doesn’t happen.

MY REVIEW

5 OF 5 STALK ME

Stalk Me was a breath of fresh air. This book really surprised me and in a good way. Looking at the cover you see a girl who is all dolled up and she looks prissy so your expecting her to be witchy and nasty towards people but what you get is a girl who is going through so much more than she should be.

Keatyn is in a relationship with a guy she likes but not loves. Her boyfriend wants to save himself for marriage and Keatyn takes it personal. She thinks he just does not want to be with her in that way. That is really not the case because he has chosen a different route she re-examines the relationship and decides she needs some space from him. So she breaks up with him and they decide they are going to just be friends. In some instances it does not work out that way but for these two it does. So Kaetyn is single and she decides she likes this surfer guy and she starts hanging with him but as all new relationships go if you don't communicate with the other person things can go very wrong. This is what happens to Keatyn and the surfer.

Keatyn is upset but she decides she will move on to someone else. She has this friend who has had a crush on her and she decides to give him a go. But she has frenemies and that enemy is out to take everything from her and she starts with taking her friend and potential boyfriend away from her. So Keatyn decides she needs a break and goes to France to get away from all the craziness back at home. Once in France she learns that the surfer guy really likes her and wants to get back with her. She flies him out to be with her and they spend time together but as all good things boys will be boys and he gets jealous of all the guy attention Keatyn is getting. So he decides to leave for a year and go on a surfing tour.

Man oh man Keatyn can not get a break. She is up to her eye balls in drama and she has some family issues that need to be resolved. What will happen to Keatyn? Who will she end up with? Will her frenemy stop trying to destroy her? This is a MUST READ! I promise you will not be disappointed!

Excerpt:

“I am curious. I’ve never heard of such a thing. Wish we knew what all was done to you, what all you can do. You are absolutely fascinating!” He looked at me with wonder clear in his eyes again.

Oh, joy. Not interested in being a curiosity. “Nicholas!”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean it that way,” he said with a small shrug.

“Let’s hope this doesn’t happen every time. I shudder to think if he were to feel in reverse, he wouldn’t survive the intensity of our joining.

“Are you sure there has never been a situation like this?”

“I don’t know. Let me see what I can find out. We’ll have to be very careful until we know for sure though. I’ll be back later.”

For once, he actually left using the door.

Anya Millar had no memory of her life or an instruction manual on how to navigate the insane world of humans, biting, and reality. Instead, Anya has had to learn to navigate the world of love, life, and sanity while avoiding those that would see her dead or enslaved.

Anya must come to terms with who she is and her missing past, Nicholas must win back the object of his eternal love while dealing with new cravings in his silent heart, and Declán must learn to destroy the very creatures that he has unequivocally given his heart and blood.

This is the ongoing journey of Anya and Nicholas, human loving vampires and the human they love, Declán. What makes it all more complicated is that they are abominations in their own world and Declán is a natural born vampire hunter called a Guardian.

Praise for Blood’s Voice

“Aine’s love for her characters shines in Blood’s Voice. She gives you a reason to become invested in their well-being. The definition of love triangle takes on a whole new meaning in the House of Millar. I was surprised in a most pleasant sort of way. This book does not contain the constant bickering and whining that are found in a lot of YA literature…a refreshing change. And, before I forget…a big thanks to Aine for her inclusion of alternate lifestyles in a very compelling manner.” – Kristin @ Better Read Than Dead

“I like the issues of LGBT that are brought up in the story and felt they were just enough of a sample of that lifestyle to not offend close minded individuals. It was very realistic and I enjoyed reading more about it. There is a ménage de trois alluded to in the book so some people may be a bit uncomfortable with that part of the story. From my point of view, it was very well written and only enhanced the book. I give this a 4 fair review as it was a very romantic story with paranormal elements that drew you in with the intricate plot.” – Heather @ Earth’s Book Nook

“Most of the vampires in this series have some type of unique ability. Especially Anya. She gives a new meaning to the coin phrase of “I get whatever I want”. You follow her on her adventures of trying to fit in with humans and seemingly thwarted by her own kind almost every time. She begins to have feelings for Nickolas, as well as Declan but they are different and easy to separate. At least for her. She loves whom she loves. Towards the middle of the book I grew a little envious of her situation.” – Nikki @ CEWTNK

“This is one book I could not put down at all and this is really one I want to read book #2 as soon as I can. Very well written and a great Young Adult book. If you are into Young Adult vampire books I think you will most likely like this book.” – Chantale @ Geeky Girl Reviews

“The author did a great job keeping my interest and making me want to finish the story to find out what happened next. They’re lots of surprises along the way and some things that truly didn’t expect but that just made it better than I thought the ending was going to be!” – Christina @ Intoxicated by Books

“This was an absolute pleasure to read, and an easy story to get into. I had no trouble getting lost in the pages and the storyline. Aine P. Massie has a very unique writing style which I found very pleasant. The characters never once got on my nerve. I quite enjoyed reading about them.” – Kyanara Night @ Kyanara’s Mad Reviews

“It’s a really easy book to read, I literally swallowed it in two days, and I really liked it! I recommend this book to all those who love vampire stories with romance, and those who like to learn new languages and cultures… Yes? Why? Well, because the author will delight us with a sweet romance full of phrases and words in Irish. : ) Happy Reading!” – Idris @ Throwing Books

Before she can shake a pom-pom, Maddie’s whisked into Logan’s world of comic conventions, live-action role-playing, and first-person-shooter video games. And she loves it. The Dirt by Lori Culwell Blog Tour Stop

Lucy Whitley cannot wait to get out of Palm Desert. It’s not a place for a frizzy-haired science nerd, particularly when her fashion-obsessed older sister Sloane is the head of a clique of pretty girls who rule the school—and practically the whole town.Fortunately, life is about to change forever. Lucy’s dad is getting re-married, and then she can transfer to a boarding school in Connecticut, escaping all the mean girls and the endless whispers about the Whitley family scandal. Everything is going to be perfect—as long as the wedding goes smoothly.

MY REVIEW

5 OF 5 THE DIRT

The Dirt was a great and funny read for me. It was a change up from what I have been reading and it was a breath of fresh air. I love a story where the main character is overlooked and treated funny by their own family. I love to see how the authors put it all together so that in the end the person learns to respect themselves and fight the good fight so to speak.

The Dirt starts out with poor Lucy Whitley. She is a nerd and not very popular. Although she has her two best friends that stay by her side she is reserved and keeps to herself. She does this because she has always lived in the shadow of her older sister Sloane who is Miss Popular. Sloane has it all she has the friends the boys and the school wrapped around her finger. All Lucy wants to do is lay low and move somewhere where she does nto have to live in the shadow of Sloane.

She just might get that chance when her father decides to re-marry.She is kinda excited and looking forward to the wedding but she also has her reservations. Well her gut feelings are right because as the wedding is in motion someone comes in to stop it and happens after that can only be described as a roller coaster ride that you have to read to fully enjoy the ups and downs and the secrets and lies that are exposed.

Eternal Hope By Frankie Rose Scavenger Hunt Stop

Title: Eternal Hope
Series: The Hope Series, Book Two
Author: Frankie Rose
Published: October 10, 2012
Genre: YA Paranormal Romance

Synopsis:

He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me

When your friends go missing and you don’t know if they’re dead or alive; when you tie your soul to the one you love; when you kill to protect and your family suffers, there’s only one thing you can do:

Move to Montana.

Farley Hope is special. She was prophesied to kill the forebears of her bloodline- a race of cold-blooded Reavers, men who steal the souls of the living to gain power. The Quorum had counted on Farley ending her own life in the process, but when Kayden came to her aid and helped save both her and Daniel, he undid their plans. Now the Quorum are displeased, not only with Kayden, but with Farley and Daniel too. Though her father is now dead, Farley’s troubles with the Reavers are far from over. An ancient Immortal, trapped for a thousand years, wants Farley for himself, and he will stop at nothing to claim her.

With secrets that lead to anger and pain, that turn friendship to dust, the group must overcome the problems within their own circle before they have a hope of fighting off the powers that threaten their lives.

About the Author:

As a child, I was always accused of being bookish because I wore glasses- big, horrible, ugly ones with too-thick lenses. Those kids, the super smart ones who always know which tender insecurities to poke at in order to provoke

life-long complexes, used to accuse me of reading too many books and that my eyes were going to rot out of my head (their words, not mine!)

The truth of the matter was a little more embarrassing: I used to sit too close to the T.V. That was the reason why I had to wear glasses, but kids don’t really care about small, insignificant details like the truth, and so I was labelled a nerd. The label kinda stuck, and after some sage advice from my awesome nana (nana, you rock!) I decided that if I was going to be abused for my supposed literary obsession, I might as well develop one.

I guess that’s how I got into books and reading at an early age. Since then, I’ve been ripping through books like they’re going out of fashion, which, thankfully, they’re not. Good thing, too, because I’m a writer now, and books are my business!

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me on my journey- look for your names in the acknowledgements! And a big thank you to you, the reader. I hope you’ve fallen in love with Farley and Daniel just like I have, and that you’ll join them in the next book, Eternal Hope!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series! So lets have a little fun with it and try and fill in the missing blanks to the story. I will say this that one of my favorite parts in Eternal Hope is when Kayden FLASHES his devious smile! Lord I love me a bad boy! Kayden is tough on the outside but boy oh boy what he has to offer from the inside will melt the girls hearts.

HAPPY SCAVENGER HUNTING!

Hale Maree by Misty Provencher Blog Tour Stop

GENRE: ADULT CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE

Please be advised that this book is NOT suitable for Young Adult readers due to language and explicit sexual situations.

Hale Simmons dreams of climbing out of her impoverished life, going to college, and getting herself a titanium crash helmet, so she can eventually bust through the Plexiglas ceiling of her crappy life. But for now, she’s just a 18-year-old girl with a flimsy hope, barely getting by with her alcoholic father, Jerry.

But for Hale, ‘crappy’ suddenly takes a nosedive, when Jerry becomes the sole witness to a horrible accident. It is an event which means to effect everyone, especially Hale, who wasn’t even involved.

While the depth of the accident has just begun to unfold, Otto Maree, a prominent business man and old family friend, stands to lose everything because of it. Otto is desperate for Hale’s father to stay quiet about what occurred the night the two men met for a drink. Out of mutual moments of desperation, the two fathers forge a deal. Jerry is desperate to gain financial stability for both himself and Hale, and Otto Maree is more than willing to pay to keep his secret just that.

But deals like this need to be made of the strongest vows and bound with the most faithful of loyalties. Otto proposes a marriage between Hale and his playboy-son, Oscar, in order to assure that the secret remains ‘in the family’. The mystery surrounding the accident continues to grow and Hale struggles against her own mysterious feelings that begin to develop for Oscar, who turns out to less of a playboy, but just as fiercely loyal and dedicated as his father.

As the pressure around her continues to escalate, Hale realizes that she’s got to decide if this arranged marriage is really just a big mistake or an amazing twist of fate that has been waiting around for this particular accident to happen.

MY REVIEW

5 OF 5 HALE MAREE

First I have to say that Misty Provencher is incredible! Her writing style captivates you right from the beginning and holds you till the end. I read her Cornerstone series and was blown away so when I heard she was writing an adult book I was jumping in my seat. I was so excited because I wanted to see what she was going to write about. This book exceeded my expectations and I look forward to reading more from Misty. Hale Maree to me fits the new genre New Adult because the characters are 18+ and some of the scenes are steamy but nothing to crazy!

All Hale wants is a normal life. Is that asking for to much? Maybe.... She wants to go to college and get a great job but her father has other plans for her and she is not happy about them. Her father and his friend have made a pact that their children would marry each other. So Hale is to marry Oscar who is considered a playboy. Hale is not sure how she feels about Oscar but the two of them have to figure what to do.

Should they honor their parents request and marry or should they continue to do what they are doing? This story has so much in it. You have secrets and lies and love that grows from nothing into something and decisions that will make or break the two families. Come along as Misty draws you into his suspense filled story and find out what happens to Oscar who is just so dam swoon worthy and Hale!

HALE MAREE TEASER

“I like to be at home,” I tell him. “My favorite is not being married to strangers, and I don’t care about movies. I actually know how to read books.”

“I like books.”

“Books aren’t Playboy magazine articles.”

“Where did that come from?” he asks. The tone in his voice reminds me that I don’t know who he is at all and have no business talking to him like that. I remain frozen, my head twisted toward the window till my neck aches. “Hale, this is going to be a lot harder on both of us if either of us decides not to try, so how about we start again?”

“I don’t know what you want from me,” I say. Thank God, my voice doesn’t crack as I say it, but at least it feels like I’ve taken the elephant off my shoulders.

“Okay, good, I can answer that,” Oscar says. I keep my eyes out the window. “I want you to be a loyal wife. I want you to cook for me, and keep up our house, and I want you to be good in bed.”

There is a playful smirk in his tone. I almost gag.

“You’re a pig,” I say. I don’t care if he shoves me out of the moving vehicle. He just laughs.

“Because I want you to be good in bed? That’s a problem?” He laughs again. “Don’t you want that from me?”

“I don’t want anything from you,” my voice cracks this time, a big jagged crack right down the middle. Oscar’s laugh suddenly cuts off.

“Wait,” he says and all I can think is here it comes. And I’m not wrong. “Have you ever been with a man before?”

When I don’t answer him, he clears his throat.

“My favorite author is Steinbeck,” he begins softly.

GENRE: DARK FANTASY

My will to survive is the first thing to drown.

I know, because I hold it under myself.

After facing severe tragedy in life, Madeline assumes her death will be easy.

But the angels do not come to take her to Heaven.

Instead, what retrieves her is something she never expected: a gargoyle.

Delivered to Truce, the King of the Gargoyles, Madeline now has choices she never wanted. She has the ability to take over the entire Gargoyle Kingdom, if she is willing to kill the king. However, looking to prevent takeover, Truce transforms Madeline, thereby granting her the ability to achieve the thing she wants most—death—if she can just find the human recipient for the Gargoyle Gift that she now has to give. It should be easy.

But lives, whether they are lived or not, are seldom simple, and Madeline’s past still stands in her way. Now, only a voyeur in the life of The Boy with the Golden Rod Voice, Madeline’s must reconcile her own life and death, if she ever hopes to have free reign of her soul.

EXCERPT FOUR

I pray, more like trying to ping whatever savior is in proximity, hoping the angels will take me. I hope that the universe will have mercy enough to wash my body back into the sea after I'm gone and feed it to the creatures at the bottom.

"Mercy?" A voice, graveled with age and smoking, ground down by drinking and screaming after women, chokes off the word with a phlegmy laugh. "There's none of that here. You're among fish. Consider them friends. And what you need isn't mercy. You need saving, although it's too late for even that."

If I could speak, I'd scream Let me die! But I can't do anything besides lie in the slimy, rotting fish. The last of the tide gushes up, bashing me against the rock. The voice comes closer.

"Now if I poke you, you'll be a talker. Not like I need a talker just yet, I'll tell you what. You need saving. Looks to me that somebody forgot. Somebody did."

The voice is so close, I ache to turn my head.

"You're a Slip, that's what. Slipped right through the crack. Right through their fingers." The voice settles above me, on the rock that is holding me here. With just one more push of the tide, my body will flap up and I will be able to see the owner of the voice. I pray for that.

"And that's what they get," the voice goes on. "They are Forgetters who end up with Slips and don't even know they have them, because they are Forgetters. You, my darling, are a fortunate disaster. You are a Slip in the hands of one who never forgets."

One hard, salty wave gets under my shoulder and shoves me upward. Right before I hit the rock, I get a good look at what is there.

It is nothing like an angel.

MY REVIEW

5 OF 5 ROUGE

Rouge was a very fun and exciting read for me. Anyone who knows me knows I love historical books that have descriptions that draw you in and you can actually feel the time period. With Rouge that is what I got and so much more. Set in New Orleans in the 1800's we get to meet an underground theater group. Hale is a singer for the show and she has adopted a small girl Teeny who was left to fend for herself. Hale is a strong character that I loved right away. She tried to do what was right but when she meet Beau the stage hand everything changed for her again.

Hale is to marry her wealthy Parisian Suitor Freddie. She is all set to do that until she falls for Beau. Beau makes her feel things she has never felt. But she soon realizes that their are other things she needs to think about and other people she needs to take care of. She has Teeny to take care of and Freddie can provide that life for them. But the heart wants what it wants and Hale is about to experience that sometimes it can be very hard to follow the heart. As Hale is caught up in something she will have no choice but to chose between her heart and money.

What will she chose? Who will she chose? Will she go with her heart? Will she go with the money and security Freddie can bring? This is such a great love story that will carry you away. You will feel like you are right there next to Hale and when she chooses you will feel her passion in her choice. I have never read a book that has captured so many emotions and I could not tread fast enough because I had to find out what happened but i'll be damned I love Leigh but the ending was a shocker!

With no witnesses to substantiate Alex's escalating abuse, it's his word against hers. Consumed with fear and the possibility of losing her job, Charlene is faced with a choice to retreat or to meet this ultimate challenge head on. MY REVIEW

5 OF 5 LAWYERS, LOWERS, & LIES

WOW can I just say that this book was nothing like I expected! I could not put it down. I really enjoyed how the story flowed and how that characters all had a place and a part to play. I even loved Alex Andrews. He is a bad bad man used to getting what he wants. He does not know what NO is and he is about to find out what it means when No means NO!

Charlene Williams has just graduated from Law school and she is looking for a job. She is offered a job at a prestigious law firm and she is so excited. The law firm is all she wanted and more. She is introduced to the other partners and one in particular looks at her like she is a piece of meat. At first Charlene thinks nothing of it but soon she will realize that the partner looking at her is Alex Andrews and Alex gets what he wants and he takes no for an answer. And what Alex wants is Charlene in his bed and he will stop at nothing to have her.

Alex Andrews is a ruthless lawyer who is used to getting what he wants. He does and says what he wants and when he sets his eyes on Charlene he wants her and he is willing to do anything to have her. But Charlene does not want him and soon Alex will use whatever means necessary to get Charlene to bed him. He threatens to ruin her career and not even that can get her to do what he wants until Alex hits the nerve and Charlene is broken down to comply to Alex's whims.

But Charlene has had enough and what she does to Alex is more than sufficient for him to learn his lesson that No is No and Yes is Yes. When a women says NO then heed to it because what happens afterwards could make or break you.I need the sequel ASAP if there is going to be one because I loved how things went down and I am curious to see what happens next!
